Our theme this week is "Backyard Farming." Today we made scrapbook chickens for our craft. We got the idea from a fabric version on a chicken found here:

Also since it's farming week here is an update of our garden!

| We got tired of waiting for our wild flowers to come up so we planted some impatiens....you can see the wildflowers starting to peek up from the mulch.... |

| The sunflowers are starting to get bigger! |

| We started this one earlier in the spring and it is just about ready to bloom! |

| We got a pretty fence to go around them so they don't get mowed over! |
 |
| The big kids started a vegetable and herb garden too! |
